How to Create a New Quote

Create professional estimates, manage discounts and taxes, and communicate effectively with your clients.

Starting a Quote

You can start a new quote from multiple locations:

  • Quick Create: From the main menu bar.
  • Client Page: Using the "More Actions" button.
  • Quotes Page: Using the "+ New Quote" button.

Quote Basics

Internal Title:

A field for your records only—your client won't see this.

Client & Address:

Select the client first. If they have multiple addresses, you'll be prompted to choose one.

Validity:

The Issue Date is set automatically. You can configure Expiry Dates in your Settings.

Services & Products

Add items from your predefined service list or create new ones on the fly.

Taxes

Toggle between tax-inclusive or tax-exclusive pricing based on your region.

Discounts

Apply a flat amount or a percentage discount to the total.

Communication

  • Client Message: A personal note that appears directly on the quote.
  • Disclaimer: Use this for terms and conditions, payment responsibilities, and job expectations.
  • Internal Note: Private notes for your team that aren't visible to the client.

Sending & Approval

Save as a draft or approve and send via Email or SMS. Clients can view, accept, decline, or message you directly through the secure link.

Did you know?

When a client approves a quote, you can convert it into a Job with a single click. All service details and client info will be automatically transferred!
